Great oxymorons of our time - Junk Food

In this modern age of mobile phones, computers, internet and of course fast food, it can’t be mistaken that fast food is always junk food, without fail.

We won’t go into naming names here, but you know the fast food outlets we’re talking about. Its junk food, lets face it. So, therefore, its not food, its junk! Sort it out.

Great oxymorons of our time - Business Ethics

In this age of glabalisation the term business ethics often seems like an oxymoron (except of course here at Shirthead). This is possibly the only T-shirt that is appropriate for those times.

Great oxymorons of our time -Microsoft Works

Possibly one of the most humorously named software products on the market today, Microsoft Works is seen as an oxymoron by many who say it doesn’t.

Great oxymorons of our time - Free Trade

Combining stylish design, a thought proviking comment and a little bit of politics. Free trade : great oxymorons of our time.

My Spouse

The ideal gift for the loving partner who spends more time on myspace than they spend in your company: The My Spouse t-shirt.

Giving them this T-shirt might not be enough to tempt them away from the computer and back to the bosom of the family, but it might at least remind you who that stranger is who creeps into bed at 3am.

My Spruce

This T-shirt is possibly the first in history to target the niche market of myspace using aboriculturists, and to be fair we don’t anticipate a flood of competition in this market. Sadly though our love of cheap puns is far greater than our understanding of economics - so here it is: The myspruce T-shirt.

Make Poetry History

Some causes and worth fighting for, and we believe that the end of poetry world-wide is one of those causes. Did you know that somewhere in the world a child is made to listen to poetry every three seconds. For the sake of that poor child buy this T-shirt. It won’t help, but it’ll make you look like you care.

I Stalk Tom

Tom is your friend. He might have 45 million other friends on myspace, but you know you’re special. After all, his other friends don’t peer through his window at night and steal his underwear off the washing line.

You looked hotter on myspace

You’d been chatting away to xx$*h0t_g1rl69*$xx for some time now and struck up somewhat of a rapport. So much so in fact you’d decided to meet. And as she squeezes through the double doors of the chic Italian cofee bar you thought you’d impress her with, you wonder what it was that attracted you in the first place. Not her taste in music or film. No. It was the fact that she took photos of herself in black lingerie at 45 degree angles in sepia.
But surely this is an infringement of the trade descriptions act!
She sits down.
The mind recoils in horror.
You hurl your mocha-latte-cino at the wall and mutter something about a bag of smashed crabs.

Commemorate the occassion with this shirt.

Hex B89F69

I’m more than a little annoyed with IBM. They’ve made my life a little bit harder.

I’ll explain why.

The majority of IBM employees in the 60s were geeks of gargantuan proportions. Massive be-speckled,  Star Trek debating, quantum physics understanding nerds. This in itself is not a bad thing if it weren’t for their intrinsic inability to get laid. You see this affected the naming process of the numeral system they invented, now known as hexadecimal code.

Hexadecimal is a bastardisation of Latin and Greek. “Hexa” is the Greek for “six” while “decimal” is derived from the Latin for “tenth”. So why didn’t they just use the Latin “sexa” for “six”? Quite simply because this word reminded them of something they’d only read about. It scared them.
And why does this enrage me so? Well, I could’ve written some witty puns on the word “sex”, referring as it does to the act of sexual intercourse. Instead you’ve been subjected to this rather tedious and not entirely accurate history lesson.

In conclusion, buy this t-shirt.
